Hear, too, about Lucy’s Protopia project which through stitching and patching “rewrites” fashion as non-disposable and circular. (“A Protopia is a society rooted in progression and improvement. I want to be part of it.”). Playing an important part are concepts of visible repair, reworking/upcycling and customisation.

Lucy has also developed biomaterials to stimulate a discussion around the use of synthetics in fashion.
