Rhiannon’s love of typography, and its ability to communicate, is the catalyst for her textile practice; her work explores the fusion of type, fabric and stitching. Following printing onto fabric using cyanotype, typography is embroidered to amplify its meaning. Diverse texts are the inspiration, from scientific writings to song lyrics.
