Joanna Bourne

Joanna Bourne is a printmaker from Newcastle-upon-Tyne. She is inspired by local allotments, parks and gardens, and landscapes with a personal connection. Working in woodcut, Jo creates her images using multiple blocks and reduction process, building up layers of transparent ink, to create subtlety and softness in the finished piece.
