Helen Pickard

Helen works in rich red clay on a potter's wheel in her studio in Middlesbrough. She is influenced by the juxtaposed decaying industrial and rugged coastal landscapes of the North East, representing this with layers of unique textural glazes. She is currently studying for an MA at Sunderland University.
