In his workshop in South Wales, Karl makes unique wooden objects ranging from sculptural items and hollow forms to contemporary homeware. He particularly enjoys turning green (unseasoned) timber almost paper-thin and allowing the pieces to twist and turn naturally as they dry out to produce exciting and often unexpected results.
