Kumiko makes her jewellery with Mitsuro Hikime- a Japanese lost wax technique. She says the movement of the wax is so supple and graceful but has strength. It can be so temperamental that whilst she draws it she sometimes forgets to breathe, but the result of her breathlessness is unbeatable.
