Visitor Information



Opening times:

  • Thursday 20th October 6 – 9pm
  • Friday 21st October 10am – 7pm
  • Saturday 22nd October 10am – 6pm
  • Sunday 23rd October 10am – 5pm

Entrance fees:

  • Tickets can be purchased on the door.
  • Opening Evening ticket £10 (includes a complimentary glass of wine).
  • Day ticket £6 adult, £5 concessions.
  • Weekend ticket £10 ( £8 concession) – allows multiple visits over the duration of the event (excluding Opening Evening).
  • Children under 16 are free if accompanied by an adult.

All visitors will be issued with a colour-coded wristband which they must wear at all times to gain access to the 4 areas that make up the GNCCF. Visitors are free to come and go throughout their visit but must show their wristband to re-enter the GNCCF.

Parking

The nearest car park is Park Force, Atkinson St M3 3JZ, located behind Manchester Opera House. Opening times/tariffs are Thursday-Friday 5.30pm till 11.00pm £4, Saturday-Sunday 9.00am till 6.00pm £4 and then 6.00pm till 11.00pm £4 Height restrictions are max 1.975 mtr.

There are lots of car parks and metered parking bays within walking distance of Quay House. NCP are offering GNCCF visitors a 30% discount off parking at nearby NCP Spinningfields, NCP Stanley St and NCP New Bridge St. To qualify for this discount, parking tickets need to be stamped at the GNCCF reception on the ground floor.

The Avenue car park is at 3 Hardman Street off Byrom Street as visitors approach from Quay House. The car park is central and just a few minutes’ walk from the Quay House. There are 50 secure spaces with 24 hour access.
Charges: £6 for 5 Hours, £12 for 10 Hours.

Disabled access

Disabled car parking bays are situated on Byron St, at the side of Quay House.There is ramped access to the building and there is lift access to the first floor of Quay House. Disabled toilet facilities are available on the ground floor of Quay House.

Catering

Please note the events does not have a catering outlet in Quay House.
All visitors will be given a wristband so they can leave the fair to make use of the many cafés and restaurants in Spinningfields. Visitors will need to show their wristband to re-enter the GNCCF.

Credit card facility/cash machines

There will be two card payment terminals at the fair, whereby you can pay for your goods using a credit or debit card. Please note American Express cards are not accepted. There are several cash machines within a walking distance of 1 minute from Quay House.

Cloakroom

There is a cloakroom on the Ground Floor of Quay House, behind the reception desk for which there will be a charge of £1 per item. All articles are left at the owners risk and Great Northern Events NW Ltd accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to property left in the cloakroom.

Buggy park

For people with pushchairs we would like to advise that some of the aisles are narrow and therefore we will not be able to allow entry for double buggies. For everyone's enjoyment we would like to advise that people with pushchairs try and visit the GNCCF at less busy times such as Friday and Sunday or preferably to leave their pushchairs in the buggy park. At busy times, the organisers reserve the right to restrict entry with pushchairs. Great Northern Events NW ltd accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to property left in the buggy park.
